It Is So Sad When We Lose One Of Our Safety Professionals And First Responders

I hadn't checked to see how the fires were coming along in the northern part of my state lately. I checked the other day and was saddened to learn that two firefighters were no longer with us. They hadn't lost their lives in fires, however. Back in mid-August 2022, there was a plane crash just outside of the Johnson Creek Airport near Yellowpine. Daniel and his twin brother, Mark Harro were killed. Daniel was a firefighter, and had just learned to fly. He was only 38 years old. His brother was visiting after they had been apart for several years. The other happened on September 29th, 2022. Gerardo Rincon,48, had worked as a firefighter for 28 years. He was working on the Moose Fire in Northern Idaho when he had a medical emergency and died. Both of these men were escorted home by numerous other fire fighting departments, forest service, and the military. They took turns in this endeavor being beside the body from the time it leaves the hospital until it reaches the funeral home. This is how their fellow first responders show their respect.

This is really sad. May their souls rest in peace and may their family find comfort at this time in Jesus Christ

So sad. These men work so hard and are at so much risk all the time. May they rest in peace.
