I thought Solar Panels are easy to install. As I watch more and more videos on YouTube. I found out there are many things to consider. It has many computation these includes, Number of House consumption load. Number of Solar Panels needed. Number of batteries and amps Type of Solar Charge Controller Type of Inverter. Numbers of breakers and types. Sun Hours, Types of Solar panels. And solar panels and batteries are expensive. There is also BMS and active balancer subject. And many more things to consider. So yeah, Solar Panels looks easy to install. But NO it is not. Are any of you using Solar Panels to power your house?

How much would solar panels save on your electric bill? Is it really worth it?

My friend says her solar panels provide almost all her household's power. And she has a hot tub and an electric car. Apparently in 10 years she'll recoup the cost of the installation. Now, is that worth it, is still the question.

@paigea It probably is worthwhile unless something changes in the next ten years.

I have heard others say they are difficult to install. None are used here.

Yes that is true. and I super agree. It involves a lot of computations.

I've never used them as we stay in a large apartment complex. One of the houses we rented while in Adelaide had solar panels and it helped reduce the electricoty bill a lot.

I ever considered to use solar panel to reduce my bill But the cost is very high for the first time we install it, so I decided to use the ordinary electricity

It seems a lot is involved. I do not have solar but the neighbors here who do have it, pay very little to run it. In the long run it is more economical. But the initial expense may be significant.
