Poem - Anything Not Nailed Down My effort for World Poetry Day Love hotel freebie complementaries Tea bags, coffee, biscuits and shower caps Little sewing kits, and soaps. Oh yes please. Fire evacuation escape route maps, Gideon Bibles. Towels and duvets Blankets, pillows, flowers and the TV All come with me on my checking out days I’d take the mini-bar but it’s heavy Leaflets on not smoking and free-WIFI, Fourteen kettles, a Do Not Disturb card, Some stuff I can’t even identify. Leave the paintings. Not into Avant-Garde. My luggage won’t lock, it’s filled to excess Hard to pack an electric trouser press Arthur Chappell
