Today's shopping trip down town.

So, I went shopping again today. Mum asked me to get "the usual" before she went into hospital, so that's what I did.
My usual socks are hard, crusty and uncomfortable, so I decided to get out my Doctor Who TARDIS socks. My brother bought them for me for my birthday or Christmas one year. I put them on and they felt all silky and comfortable. They're lovely and much better than my other socks!
I decided to take my own soy milk with me because sometimes in No.24 they say they haven't got any soy milk in, so if I went in today and they said we don't have any soy milk at the moment I could whip It out and say, I brought my own!
It wasn't raining when I went out, but it was promising to later, so I wore my mac. I went up the top path round Stowe Pool again.
As I was coming to the end of Stowe Pool and coming to the path between 2 hedges, I saw a guy infront of me and it looked to me like he had a Doctor Who hoody on. I got up closer to him, and indeed it was a Doctor Who hoody! I got up alongside him and I said, "Hi there, do you like my socks?" He looked, and he shouted in glee to his girlfriend, "Hey, look! TARDIS socks! That's fantastic!" And then we had a little chat about Doctor Who! He said to his girlfriend , "You see, there are more Doctor Who fans out there!" It was lovely to find a kindred spirit on the way to the town centre!
Then I went to the toilet by the Cathedral and after that I went straight to Holland and Barrett. I got 3 packets of sugar free liquorice, one for me, one for my Mum and one for my step-dad. I got a packet of sugar free strawberry and cream flavoured sweets for my Mum, I got some sugar free chocolate chip cookies for my Mum, I managed to get some soy chunks for me this week and I got some grain coffee.
Next I went to The Entertainer toy shop and got 2 little sets of motorbike Lego for my little nephews as an extra little present to go with their books, and I got one for me. I also got a 3 in 1 Lego for me which is a bit similar to a previous one, with an owl, a squirrel and something else to make, but they are all in purple! (My favourite colour!) I also got another Muppet Lego mini figure. They are lucky dip, you don't know what you're going to get. Remember the Gonzo I got from the big Tesco a while back?
I decided not to sit down on a bench and eat my lunch. Instead I went straight to the new Tesco in town and I got some flamingo measuring cups and a note book.
Then I went to Rileys and got some strawberries, 4 pears, a cucumber, some lettuce and some sugar free wafers for my Mum.
After that I went to No.24 Market Street and I decided to have myself a vegan breakfast and a cappuccino with soy milk. The lady said they didn't have any soy milk, like I thought she might! So I opened my trolley and said, "That's OK. I brought my own!" And brought it out. "Oh, bless you!" said the lady!
I went and sat down at my table and soon my cappuccino with soy milk came. Then the lady brought me my soy milk back. I put it back in my trolley. The cappuccino was delicious! I got a free biscuit with it this week too! Soon after I'd finished my cappuccino my vegan breakfast came, and that was very tasty too. When I'd finished my vegan breakfast and my biscuit, which I saved till last, I went off to go to the toilet in No.24. As I was walking up I noticed that the door to the disabled loo was open. Usually you have to ask for the key to that one. I went in there. There's enough room to take the trolley in too, otherwise you'd have to leave it by the sink and hope nobody nicks off with it!
Afterwards I went to the Oxfam bookshop. First I went to the travel section to see if they had any books about Cardiff or South Wales. The only thing I could find was a book about cycling in North Wales so I decided not to bother with it. But I looked on the top shelf where they have bamboo drinking cups and fold up bags and stuff and there were some moomin coasters and one said 'I'll give you something to buck you up' so I decided to get It for my Mum when she comes out of hospital.
Then I went round to the Sci-Fi section and found 4 books. 3 were compilations of short stories and the other was a novel called The First Immortal.
Next I went to Waterstones bookshop to look for presents for my Mum and step-dad. I found a book holder for my step-dad that holds your book open while you're reading it, and a magnetic weekly organiser for my Mum for Christmas. You usual put them on your fridge, but our fridges just have doors the same as the cupboards which are not magnetic so she'd probably put it on the boiler instead!
After that I went back to the toilet by the Cathedral. I saw that one of the toilet doors was showing red, which means someone's in there, but no-one was in there! The door was definitely locked from inside but I looked under the door and there was no-one in there! How'd they manage that? Someone must have gone in, locked the door, and then crawled back out under the door or something!
Then I set off for home. It started to rain as I came out of the toilet but it wasn't too much yet. I sat on a different bench by Stowe Pool. It was a bit wet but I was a bit wet anyway so... There were a lot of geese there so I decided to film them in the rain. I also took a picture of them but the picture's not as good as the videos. I walked round the other side of Stowe Pool today for a change. It's a lot longer that way because the path curves out more.
When I got in I unpacked the groceries and my things and put them away. I opened my Muppet Lego figure to see what it was and it was one of the grumpy old men from the box who are always heckling!
I left the trolley out to dry because it was rather wet. When I'd been home for a bit it started coming down in buckets! You could see it bouncing off the road! I was so glad I hadn't been out in that!
How was your day?
Picture: The picture I took of the geese in the rain by Stowe Pool. Some rain had got onto the camera lens, that's why part of it is blurry!

Thank you very much.
I had a great weekend thank you. Saturday - cutting up boxes and clearing up. Sunday - washing and drying laundry and filming myself making a Lego model (which is still not finished).
Did you go to the Marukai Wholesale Mart? Did you get anything nice?

Yes, there were very many geese. They were both sides of the bench I was sitting on. I made some videos of them too.

@RubyHawk I enjoy watching them too but I get a bit wary if they get too close!

My Mum's OK. They've got to get the swelling in her leg down.

They should have given you a discount for bringing your own milk for the cappuccino!
Your Dr Who story reminds me of a couple of years ago, we were out for a walk on the South Downs when we met a person wearing a T-shirt with Calcifer, the fire demon from 'Howl's Moving Castle'! I think they were surprised when we recognised the character since it's rather a cult film.
