Sunday at Church and doing the washing.

I went to Church again today. Before I went my step-dad asked me if I wanted any washing done, or wether to leave it till I came back, so I said leave it till I come back. I thought it might be cold out but I didn't expect it to rain, so I wore my little black cardy over my blue paisely dress, and my grey coat which doesn't have a hood. I went and got my teabag to take to Church and told my step-dad I was off. I went to Church and when I got there this guy called Jeff stepped infront of me when I was going through to the main hall. Of course he didn't know I was there, so I tapped him on the shoulder and said, hey, standing infront of me! Oh, I'm sorry Sharon, he said and we both laughed. They'd remembered my proper mug again so that was good. It was a plain white mug today. I timed my teabag to brew for 3 minutes and kept looking at my watch to see when my 3 minutes was up. This is what I usually do. When my tea was brewed I went and sat down to drink it, then when I'd finished it I went and took it back to the table. A few people asked about my Mum so I had to keep repeating the story. The service started and we sang several choruses. We sang a few older ones which was nice. I'm not keen on a few of the newer ones that we sing because they tend to have not much of a tune to them. After that a guy came up for a time of prayer. He prayed for our government and for Ukraine. There was a visiting preacher giving us the sermon today. His name was Kevin Davis. And he'd come all the way from....Walsall! (If you don't get the joke, Walsall is only a few miles away!) He was preaching on Social Stewardship, part of our stewardship series. He said that there is no separation. He meant no separation between Christian and Secular. He said that we should be in the world but not of the world, but that Jesus is in everything. Jesus should be our focus in whatever we do outside of Church aswell as in it. When we leave the Church doors we need to be lights for the gospel in our work, in the shops, in our homes and wherever we are. So we should be in the world of the secular but we should not let the anti-Christian elements affect us, rather we should be affecting the world for the better. After the service had finished I put my coat on and headed for the toilet but our friend Dawn accosted me before I could get there! She said Mum's house group leader Stewart had told her about my Mum being in hospital and so she asked about it and then she said if I need anything to just let her know. I can message her on Facebook messenger. I told her if I needed anything I'd let her know. I went to the toilet and then I went home. My step-dad had put a load of washing in already. I got my dinner which was Ja Ja Tofu, with a little vegan pudding for afters. My step-dad made himself a meatball ready meal in the microwave and he had his own pudding. When I went to get my tea I asked him if he wanted one too. I had a chamomile tea and my step-dad had a normal tea with half a sugar in it. After I'd finished my cup of tea, the washing had finished so I put it in the dryer. My step-dad had put a towel in with some socks, a hanky and one of his vests! You should really put the towels in a different load! Anyway I put another load in, non-woollies, while the others were drying. Then when that load had finished I put that in the the tumble dryer and put on a woolly load. After the woolly load had finished I put that in the tumble dryer. When that had finished I took out all my blouses and pants that were dry and one pair of socks and took them into my bedroom. Then I took the rest, which was one towel, a pair of my trousers, one of my step-dad's jumpers, loads of pairs of my step-dad's socks, some of his vests and one pair of his pants, and took them upstairs to the bathroom. The ones that were completely dry I left in the bags, but I hung my step-dad's jumper and my trousers on the rail because they were still a bit damp. In between doing all that washing I took some stuff that were on the rails off that were dry from last time, and put some on that had already been washed before but not hung up to dry. When I'd finished all my washing and drying I was exhausted! I'd had my tea at about 5:00pm before the last drying load was finished. I had cucumber, green pepper and a mini vegan yogurt, and another cup of green tea. I washed up the tea things while The Antiques Roadshow was on. My step-dad tells me Dave Lee is going to be visiting us tomorrow, but he didn't say what time. That's all we need! How was your day?

That was a lot of laundry that you got done. Dryers are marvellous if you can't dry things outside.

Yes, it was a lot of laundry. I managed to get most of it bone dry in the dryer, but a few items were still a bit damp so I hung them up on the drying rack upstairs in the bathroom.

Yes, I didn't hurt my finger doing the washing, but I did hurt my finger cutting up boxes in Saturday! Ouch!

I think she's OK, but my step-dad hasn't been to see her since Thursday because he doesn't really like driving all that way. Maria said the pastor of our church would take him it we haven't heard anything since. My brother has been up to see her and he says she OK. But they've got to get the swelling down on her leg. Thank you for asking.

Yes, I did have a nice long day. And I really enjoyed it even though I was exhausted at the end! I also did some filming of the washing and I filmed me making a Lego model. Infact I did 6 videos each of about 10-11 minutes long, but I still haven't finished the Lego model so I'm going to be filming yet more videos of it!

Didn't start too well as I was feeling a bit strange and shivery this morning, but this seems to be a bit better now. This afternoon I went to the cinema with the girls (because we had booked tickets in advance so I didn't want to waste them!) to see 'Ticket to Paradise' and we had a walk beside the river on the way as well.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I'm glad you're feeling better now. I hope you had a nice time at the cinema. The walk beside the river sounds very nice.
