Looking for empanada in Facebook

This past days I've been contacting people that sell empanada in Facebook. The first one is very far town from our home. I got curious because she sells empanada so cheap. It is because it is just mini empanadas. I paid more for the delivery services. I thought I can resell their empanada but it was not as good as what we make. Then I look for seller that is just close town to us. Again I ordered 10 pieces and again I'm not satisfied. Now is my third time and the price is just right. I learned from this sellers how they make and price their product. If this one is not good it is really better if I do it on my own and not be a reseller

Good luck on your new business venture becoming a reseller of that. I think if you can make better ones then it would be good to make your own since you can control the quality and quantity and the price vs cost. Whereas if you will buy from others there is a risk that the quality is not as good as expected. Unless they give you sampler so that you can check the quality of the goods.

I think I will not want to be a reseller because they don't have the taste I am looking for. But I think it is not a waste of money trying the empanada of other sellers. As I learned the size of their empanada and how they price them. I also learn how other people make the taste of their empanada plus I have my own flavors that other sellers don't sell

@averygirl72 So it's more like you research or study them so that you can better price your own recipe. I think that is wise and hope that you find a good supplier too.

@rsa101 I was looking really for a supplier with a very delicious empanada but they don't meet my expectation. But I least I learn from trying their products. I cannot sell something I'm not confident to sell

I think that it is a good idea to test what the others sell and then make them yourself and price them right.

I learned from those small time business in Facebook. I would like to try the empanadas of big time businesses and I can compare the taste, the price and the size of their product

@averygirl72 The best is to compare, so you know how to price your product and you can check how the others are made and decide what is the best to sell more.

I’d think you would make more making it yourself and selling it then buying it from someone else and selling it.

If I buy from someone else it saves me time and effort but making my own would give me more income

Maybe it is best if you make you own empanada.
