Maryland State Police Officer Jason Reid will simply say that he was just doing his job to serve and protect the citizens of his community when on Monday morning in Silver Spring Maryland when he assisted a tow truck tried to attach a winch to the underside of a Chevrolet Equinox when the truck fell off of the back of the truck and trapped the tow truck driver underneath the auto.
Officer Reid who was at the scene of the accident which happened on Interstate 495 East off a ramp on the U S Highway 29 South when he took action to the tow truck controls to lower the truck's bed to the floor and then move the truck controls to the front of the auto and then lift the auto off of the tow truck to allow the tow truck driver to be free from losing his life by being crushed to death.
The tow truck driver was then taken by an ambulance to a local hospital where he is being treated for his injuries. I am hoping that tow truck driver will make a speedy recovery from his injuries that he suffered in the auto accident.
I am sure that Officer Reid will be rewarded for his actions of saving the life of the tow truck driver.

@Deepizzaguy Our car broke down once and we had to call for help. Wehadto ride to the shop in the cab of the tow truck and that was uncomfortable towering over cars passing by.

I think it would be scary to be stuck under an automobile. It can cause the lungs to be pierced and a person would have trouble breathing. That would only add to the anxiety of the victim.

@Deepizzaguy ......I was just watching one the other day. The guy had been on his motorcycle and a truck drove into him. When emergency personnel took the truck off of him he said he could feel his ribs breaking.
