Takin is the national animal of Bhutan. It is found in all the neighbouring countries like Nepal China and Tibet. It is preserved in the Zoo in Thimphu the capital city of Bhutan. The zoo is very clean. I also saw the takin in the wild. It is a harmless grass eating antelope like animal.

It's quite an unusual looking animal. It's good that it is harmless.

thanks Judy just because it is found in those countries where average height is 7500 feet so it is adapted to climb the mountains and eat the grass and leaves

So did you manage to get a picture of this animal? Good to know that the zoo is kept clean. That is always a pretty good thing which attracts tourists.
