What do you think is your purpose in life?

I often wonder, why I came into this world. Do I have a particular role to fulfill? Is there a purpose to my life? Of course, it's natural to exist for my family. I'm here to fulfill my responsibility as a family member, but aside from that, do I contribute much to society or humanity? If I leave this world, would non-family members even know that I'm gone? It's like I'm just a speck of dust being blown away and would be lost in the wind forever. Is there a grander purpose for me? What about you? Have you ever wondered if you are here on earth to fulfill a grander mission aside from your responsibility to your family? Image is mine.

I don't, I just follow the road that's in front of me.

I see, that must be exciting, just to ride with the tide.

No, I don't wonder at all. I know the purpose of every human on Earth. We are here to ensure the continuation of the human species.

@DaddyEvil Thanks for asking. Yes, I've been binge-watching Kdramas and was "lazy" to drop by. I should do it more often, right? How are you, as well?

I believe my purpose was to care for family as well. Beyond that, my work let me care for others as long as I could.

I ponder about such all the time. It is said life is a journey without a destination. I am agnostic in the sense the meaning and purpose of life are beyond us. We are soon forgotten as those we leave behind have to live and move on.

Just thinking that not many will remember me when I'm gone makes me shiver. . You have a point there.

I think I served my purpose when I was working. I don't know what my purpose is now that I'm retired. Just family I think. I hope that you are having a good weekend.

Yes. Everyone of us have a purpose in life. Some will become a police, a pastor, a teacher or a businessman.
