Good morning, friends. For a long time, we had to listen to many songs here very low as they were against the dictator. Those were the times when we did what we could to have the democracy back in our country. That was over 30 years ago and my husband and I did what we could. And I now see another generation that does not have the same values we have and are hooked to consumerism So today I decided to listen again to all those musicians that spent many years in exile and now sing for those of us who are old like them. Some of them are already dead. Some were killed by Pinochet so long ago. But they are still alive for many of us. Some of those folk musicians came from other parts of Latin America. They had had similar experiences with their own dictators. I wish people would learn. In my generation, the foe was a dictator; now it is the greed of having too much.
