If you don’t want to read a Christmas-related post, consider this your heads up so you can skip this one. I just want to get my thoughts out there, especially if it can somehow help me get organized for the season. I’ve been working on building up my funds InboxDollars, as I do every year. I ONLY cash out on InboxDollars for Christmas, and then I spend the next year building up the funds again. Right now, I’m at $33.58. I can cash out (for Amazon) now, but I may see if I can hit $40 soon. I’m not sure yet because it’s already late October, and I’d still need to wait a few days for it to process. I’ve been pretty active on InstaGC, as that website has been a lifesaver for smaller purchases. Anything I earn between now and mid-to-late November is going toward Christmas shopping. I love that I get my reward right away (hence the name InstaGC, lol) rather than waiting several business days for it to process. It’ll make it easier to use it toward Christmas shopping. I always use Shopkick for Christmas, just like I do with InboxDollars. I may only be able to cash out for a $2-$3 Amazon gift card (I usually get $5), but I keep forgetting to scan things while I’m in stores. I think I’m going to use SurveyJunkie toward Christmas shopping (I’m halfway to cash out). I’ll probably just cash out when I hit the minimum requirement of $5. So, that’s still a nice chunk of change to go toward my Christmas shopping. I just need to get on the ball with things. I wanted to be at least a quarter of the way done by now, but I've only picked up a few stocking stuffers. Life happens, I guess. And before anyone tells me "it's too early" - it's not too early for me. I shop for multiple people, including a few out-of-town friends, so I don't want to still be shopping in mid-to-late December, other than for a few odds and ends. I’m going to use MyPoints, Swagbucks, and MyLot toward tax season. I’m only halfway to $5 on here anyway, so I don’t think I’ll be getting paid anytime soon lol. It’s okay though. I also need to order stamps for my Christmas cards. They usually arrive quickly, so I'm not too worried about that yet. I had some leftover cards from last year, but I think I unintentionally packed them up, so I’ll have to decide if it’s easier to dig through my belongings or just spend a few extra bucks on a new box. I’m not sending out the cards right now, so I have time to decide. I’m not buying any wrapping paper right now. There’s still a bit left from last year. I just need tape and maybe labels. I’ll get bags/boxes and tissue paper if there’s something I don’t feel like wrapping lol. But stocking stuffers… that’s where I’m at with my Christmas shopping, and I’m not even done with those. I really need to get going with it before last year repeats itself. Last year, I blinked and it was December. Look how fast October went by. Ey-yi-yiiii lol. I’ll get it together for the holidays though. I always do. :) Photo Credit: Pixabay.

That's cool, you're getting ready already and have "savings" for it. I wish I could also do that, but I usually withdraw the money right away because I need it. . I will try to start from now on and buy small gifts earlier to avoid the peak of prices during the Holiday season. Advance Merry Christmas.

You sound very organized with your finances and Christmas shopping. I've already started thinking about it too and looking for some ideas for gifts. I try to budget my money throughout the year so I have enough put aside for my Christmas shopping.
