Off duty police officer saves the life of a male who suffered a heart attack in a gym

South Saint Paul Officer Sergeant Mike Dahl who was off the clock when he was working out inside of the CrossFit gym in Roseville Minnesota was at the right place at the right time on Thursday afternoon when Pat Vermilya suffered a heart attack during a workout inside of the gym.
Officer Dahl admitted that as soon as Pat collapsed to the floor during his workout with members of his family, he knew that he had to take action to save the life of the stricken man by using chest compressions in an attempt to revive Pat with the help of the others who were inside the gym until medical help arrived to take Pat to a local hospital where the doctors determined that Pat who has a history of heart problems in the past suffered sudden cardiac death which is a condition when the heart stops beating.
Pat is expected to make a full recovery from his recent health scare. Pat's daughter Sara is grateful that Officer Dahl was her dad's Guardian Angel.

That is true since heart attacks can be fatal if someone is not around to assist the victim as soon as possible.

I agree with you that since Pat does have a history of heart problems, the stress of his workout did cause his heart attack inside of the gym before Officer Dahl saved him.

I am thankful Mr. Dahl was where he was to help Mr. Vermilya after suffering a heart attack. I am also happy to hear he will make a good recovery from it

I share the same feelings since the relatives of Pat mentioned that thanks to the efforts of Officer Dahl, her dad will get another chance to live a long life.
