Sorting out my food cupboard ... Did I even buy that !!!

Well, I am at the caravan by the seaside for the last time this season.....which means I have to sort out the food cupboard to see what needs raking home to eat over the Winter and what is in good date and can be left til next season. We usually keep an emergency supply in the cupboard which is tins and packets for when we are at the caravan but the weather is bad and we don't want to go out shopping or if we are here just for the weekend... We know we always have something in . So what we are leaving this time is tinned soup ( I always make my own at home ), corned beef, mushy peas, sweetcorn, pasta, mackerel, tinned fruit and a jar of coffee. There are various sauces that are going home ...not sure how we got so many , I don't remember buying them ! It got me thinking .....we do this at the end of every season ...but ....how often do you clear out your cupboards ? Do you find things that you don't remember buying ?
