Yes. We spent a night in one of our favorite hotels. It's still a staycation because we didn't leave our hometown. But, we did pamper ourselves, and take a break from life.

Glad you got home safe and sound. I know Chilly was glad to see you. At least even though my cats are used to me usually being home I went out for a short walk this afternoon to the convenience store and between going and coming since there are three of them when I announced I was back home they exchanged looks like Who knew she was gone

LOL the silly kitties. Chilly's like that when we're gone for a couple hours. He gets supper lovable and chatty when we're gone overnight.

@kaylachan That's good. I remember long time ago when we had our first son, we spent our staycation to my wife's parents home for three days.
