Good morning??? I've been up since 5:45 a.m. today, I promised a friend I'd call her and wake her up at 6:30. She's hard of hearing and the phone ringing wakes her up. That was accomplished and instead of going back to sleep, I got up. It's now 8:14 a.m. and I am dressed and my day is planned. I went into my walk-in closet to hang up my robe and looked at all the faux fur jackets, coats, and vests hanging there waiting for me to take them apart for bears, well I decided that today would be a great work day. I took them off the hangers and stacked them in the livingroom/work room so I can start working on them. Around 9:30 a.m. I'm going to catch the bus and go to the grocery stores and pharmacy. That will take a little time, but it will be a nice break from dissecting the coats, jackets, vests etc. Besides I need a couple items, including some Temptations cat treats for the brats. Anyhow, it is going to be nice to be busy. I've got some great faux furs to work on and get ready for the next process, tracing my patterns on them and then cutting out the pieces...I'll post the processes as they progress. I've been sitting idle too long and it's gotten to me, so back in "harness" and working on the bears. Fortunately, the apartment manager isn't holding inspection the apartment is going to be a furry MESS!!!! Mom used to hate my doing the tracing and cutting (well also the dissecting too). The house would be a hairy mess for days. The vacuum cleaner would fill up with the tiny pieces of fake fur-I'd have to empty the bag countless times. Of course, the one thing that will interrupt the work is a large ginger tabby roosting on my lap, taking a nap. Sigh, I'm a sucker for my critters. The picture is of my livingroom and work room with the stack of garments that I'll be dissecting. I'm anxious to work on the rainbow-colored jacket to see how the bears turn out.
