How do we Treat One Another?

I stayed up too late last night/this morning watching a limited series on Netflix entitled "The Most Hated Man On The Internet". This was quite a story about a young man, Hunter Moore, who starts up a website called Is Anyone Up? He takes pride in being what he terms a professional life ruiner. His cohort, Charlie, hacks into woman's accounts and puts their nude photos up on his site along with their Facebook account information. A young woman with a gutsy mom has this happen to her in late 2011. She tells her mom and her mom starts researching Moore and trying to get him to take down her daughter's photos. It takes a lot of work and he is finally prosecuted in 2015. This series started me thinking about how we treat one another. I remember with my mother I could have communicated with her more and been nicer. Instead, I just took her for granted. Thought she would be there forever. I should have set down with her and shared more. She was such a good mom. Do you take family members for granted? Are we rather rude to siblings? Are we nicer to co-workers than we are to some family members? How do we treat one another?

That's bad - real bad. He deserves for what he did.

Yes, and he and some others who ignored Subpoenas should have gone to jail and nothing has been done to them at all. If it were any of us we would be in jail still probably.

@Nakitakona ........This hasn't happened before. He was a president and so I am wondering if they aren't going to treat this very carefully. I hope he does some time but for a expresident, it may not happen.

Most of the time we take our family members for granted which we can't do to our colleagues. I didn't take my mother for granted though I had arguments with her many times.

@aninditasen ........Yes, and it is how they respect one another and choose to handle those differences that says a lot about whether their relationship will last or not.

He only got about a year and a few months. Not much. Thanks. She has been gone quite a few years now.

I don't feel like I do take anyone for granted. My family and friends and I get along well together. Some of us can't discuss politics because we're on different sides.

@celticeagle It's better to leave politics out of it in my family.

There is often dysfunction in a family. We all have different personalities; and sometimes it's hard to get along. We do the best we can in treating one another in a good way.
