4 November - What I'm Thankful for Today / myLot

I think I'll go to bed early tonight. We'll see. I've been up since 1 AM. I'm thankful I got up that early. I accomplished a lot, but not what I expected. Oh well, tomorrow. I'm thankful for the time I spent with my son this morning. We played kings in the corner, a card game, and one I haven't played in many years. It was fun. I'm thankful I ran the dishwasher and took the garbage down before exercise class this morning. Two less things I need to do. I'm thankful for my work on my Christmas-themed book, Three Wishes of Christmas. I started this one a couple of years ago. It went well today. I added about 1500 words to it. Okay, that's my day. Time to get off the computer. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

That's nice that you and your son had time to play a card game. I haven't played a card game since Leo passed away.

Thank you. Until I moved here, it had been many years since I played cards. Now, I play Canasta every week with several women in the community room.

I remember my husband and I taught the kids when they were little. It's been ages since I played it. I was exhausted. I slept well last night.

I don't believe I have heard of kings in a corner card game. Glad you had some good quality time with your son. Glad you got work done on your Christmas book. I am thankful to have a pretty day to mow at the church one last time for the season. We are having a revival beginning Sunday morning and going through Thursday evening. I wanted the yard to look good. Suppose to rain over the weekend into the beginning of the new week. Hope you have a good night's rest.
