I ran into my neighbor when I got back here from tanning. We were chatting as my Instacart order was delivered. I pointed up to my apartment door. . . and saw that it was wide open.

I wasn't worried that someone had broken in or taken anything. I was worried, though, about Charlie because he is a runner. If he gets outside he has absolutely no hesitation about running down to the ground level and hiding in the bushes. There is no telling how far he would go if I let him.
For whatever reason he was still in the apartment. I don't know if he was asleep and didn't realize the door was open or if he did go out and then returned back inside. I'm very relieved that he was here.

That´s one of the things I like about dogs: they stay at home.

So glad he was still in there. I have one cat that will do the same thing. As soon as the door is opened he is gone.

I sure don't blame you. I keep Chilly in the bedroom so he doesn't get the bright idea to run.

Thank goodness all the fur babies were accounted for.
