Frugal Shopping: Snack Guy Haul.

Hi, if you're new here I like to save money while getting snacks/clothes/etc for my family It's kind of my whole personality at this point LOL. Anyway, if you're not new here, then you know that about once a week I stop in to see "snack guy" who is the guy who runs the local dent and bent discount store. You never know what you are going to find there which is part of the fun. Sometimes there is a lot of good stuff that we will actually use, and other times there isn't. Today was a fantastic day for me to stop by. I did really well. I spent $10.00 and got the following. -Jet-Puffed Marshmallow Bites "Smores" $2.99 ea normally, I got 3 bags for $0.75 ea. So that's a savings of $2.24 per bag or $6.72 total. -StoneRidge Organic Apple Sticks $2.00 ea normally, I got 6 bags for $0.33 ea. So that's a savings of $1.67 per bag or $10.02 total. -Cinnamon Toast Crunch Popcorn with Cinnadust Glaze $3.56 ea normally, I got 2 bags for $1.00 ea. So that's a savings of $2.56 per bag or $5.12 total. -Cheetos Flamin Hot Puffs $1.25 ea normally, I got 8 bags for $0.12 ea. So that's a savings of $1.13 per bag or $2.26 total. -Garden Veggie Straws Zesty Ranch $4.98 ea normally, I got one bag for $1.00. So that's a savings of $3.98. -X Caff Energy Latte Vanilla Flavored $1.20 ea normally, I got 2 for $0.50 ea. So that's a savings of $0.70 each or $1.40 total. -Clearly Organic Diced Yellow Cling Peaches 4 pack $7.98 normally, I got one pack for $1.00. So that's a savings of $6.98. That is a savings of $36.48. Which is super impressive. I was actually impressed with how much I saved by getting snacks there. I use Walmart's website to check prices when I do posts like this, and we had been at Walmart right before going to see snack guy. I'm glad I decided I wanted to stop at snack guy instead of getting snacks at Wally World. I am so glad that there are places like this where I can score a good deal, and make money really stretch. My philosophy is that if I save money in areas like snacks, there's more money for other fun things. Which is always important, but with Christmas coming up, I try to be a little more frugal where I can. Do you have a dent in bend or a discount grocery store where you live?
