Tropical Storm Nicole Strengthens Into Hurricane Tomorrow

Well, it seems we will feel the impact from Hurricane Nicole ... late Thursday night into Friday with isolated tornados. Winds will be 35-40 mph.
It's that time of year ... strange how years ago I knew it would rain this time of year, be so windy not knowing there was such a thing as hurricanes, tropical storms. As I grew older I began to connect the dots.
Now ... I pay attention... hurricanes reach here and do damage, serious damage. Being young, naive when floods, heavy rains, winds happened I just put it off to being fall weather.
It isn't Fall time that causes them ... they form an ocean away. It's amazing. Then ... travel all the way to the USA ... twist, turn and goes who knows where. It's the where that can scary.
I am not the only one who feels a little nervous, I realize that. I worry for others too. So ... tomorrow begins Hurricane Nicole.

@GrannyGee We do not have hurricanes, tornadoes or earthquakes here, it is a pretty safe area.

I know how it feels to brace yourself from the effects of a hurricane and storms since flooding and high winds can and will kayo electrical power for a short while.
