Whoopi Goldberg was born Caryn Elaine Johnson on November 13, 1949. It was in Manhattan and her mom was a nurse and teacher while her dad was a clergyman. She is now an actress and producer. One of the most beloved and well-known of any. Remember her in Sister Act and Ghost? She was also in The Color Purple and many others. She is a real favorite of mine and I sure hope she has a great birthday.

@celticeagle I remember a lot of the movies she'd done. we have a physical dvd of Ghost.

@kaylachan .........Her part in that was so fun. She did one that I think was called "Claudia, Claudia" that was good too.
