that warms the heart'n gives the senses pleasure. 't least fer myself, call me selfish.
With months 'f prolonged, 'exceptional' drought, I'd feared the Prickly Pear 'd not produce a single blossom. Whilst such 'twas few this year, some 'merged sporadically to the delight 'f the bees.
'lways fun times waitin' fer 'em to hold still long 'nough to get a decent photo 'f these lovely creatures. I've been fortunate o'er the years to catch 'em sleepin', 2 'r 3 bees rummagin' the same pollen, several squabbles, etc.
Many've 'not the time', so I'm told, to seek out these simple pleasures'n life. The eldest son used to roll his eyes 't such marvels. Now, he joins'n the chase 'f patience'n timin'. Both with cameras'n hand, waitin' fer that near perfect shot.
Do ya take the time to see what 'nfolds all 'round ya? 'fter more'n a year 'f bein' short-sighted, I 'twas thrilled to be back to playin' such a game.

thanks :) i keep debatin' gettin' a better camera, but my ol' 'friends' 're so familiar to me 'n such'd be kinda sad to toss 'em 'side right now. i'd be thrilled he's caught the bug, too!

glad 't came back to me, thankfully spring surged such a need 'n nature provided great gifts to 'hold. most humbled to share 'em with folks who 'ppreciate such wonders.
