This evening my cousin called my mom and is crying. My aunt who was rush to the hospital last week was diagnose only today with TB meningitis. I think I heard she is having hydrocephalus now.
That aunt is the youngest sibling of my mother. It's too early for her to leave her family. She has so many grandchildren now.
She can no longer identify her family members.
I hope it is not yet her time and God have mercy on her and extend her life.
This is very sad. She is too young age 58. We are not very close to each other but I'm so sad that she is suffering. She has 7 grown up children

This is the first I've heard of the condition, and from my research, it appears to be quite serious. Since it affects the brain and the spine in addition to the lungs, it is thought to be an unusual type of tuberculosis. Since it is a bacterial infection, which can be treated with antibiotics, it can be cured with the right treatment, but if the infection is discovered too late, it may become difficult to treat.

I think it is stage 3 now. She called my mom last year and was crying as she is not feeling well already and is worried of her health. She lose a lot of weight now. I don't know but they didn't detect it early

@averygirl72 Am not aware how bad her condition is. Hopefully that is not too late as of yet since it can be cured by antibiotics.
