It is unusual for a mustang to get away from his home in the Township of Sevastopol in Wisconsin on Sunday into the streets of the town and avoiding being caught for at least one day. The authorities in Hood County did warn the persons in the county not to attempt to capture the wild mustang. The mustang did swim across Green Bay to Potawatomi State Park before it captured the mustang by the Hood County deputies on Monday morning. How did the mustang get away from his owner is not known at this time. The mustang was not hurt when he was captured by the Hood County Sheriff's Office deputies.

I share your feelings that the loose mustang was captured by the deputies unharmed myself.

I can imagine it would be quite a task to catch a mustang that didn't want to be caught.

Mustangs are very hard to take down by any person who is not experienced in dealing with them.

I am sure that the mustang was scared by a weather event or another animal.

He looks a little thin, maybe he was looking for food.

@Deepizzaguy If that mustang wasn't well cared for, naturally it would run away!
