Yesterday's trip to the big Tesco.

I went to the big Tesco again yesterday. Mum still wasn't up to coming. Before we went out it was sunny with blue skies but by the time we went out the clouds had gathered and it was dull and grey! Before I went out a friend of Mum's from Church, Julie who runs Mum's home group with her husband Stuart, came round to bring a belated card and present for my step-dad (his birthday was the previous day), and a bunch of flowers for my Mum to say get well soon. I had a lot to get yesterday because I had to get all the things I didn't get on Tuesday because I didn't go to the little Tesco because it was pouring down with rain! I did the usual putting the soft plastic recycle in the recycle receptacle, then up to the shop in the lift. I got 2 TV magazines which I didn't get on Tuesday, and I got a Doctor Who magazine for me. I got a prawn layered salad and a bottle of water but I didn't bother getting a sandwich for tomorrow. I got some multi-vitamins with iron for my step-dad. I got the fruits and vegetables. I got strawberries, blueberries, spring onions, celery, lettuce, a cucumber, a lemon, pears and carrots. I got my small vegan yoghurts, 3 bottles milk and pudding for my step-dad for Saturday and Sunday. I got all my vegan stuff and some ready meals and stuff for my Mum. My step-dad wanted pot noodle, 2 spring veg soups in tins (he said country veg on his list, but they don't have country veg, they only have veg or spring veg so I got spring veg!), sliced cheese, bread, Victoria sponge, crisps and digestive buscuits. My Mum wanted me to get him a bounty bar but they only had multi packs so I got one of those. I got more of my stuff including some herbs in pots and soy sauce, etc, and some of my green T-bags. I got nuts for all of us and graze for me. I got some no duck spring rolls and other vegan party food for me for Saturday and Sunday because I'm going off cucumber and pepper because it's cold and I want something warm in me these days. I also got a pizza style garlic bread and the fish in batter. Lastly I got some washing up liquid and then I went and payed. It was the same lady that I went to again and she asked how we all were. It came to just over £120 before club card and then just under £119 with club card! I swapped my book at the Tesco book swap again and went down on the lift. My step-dad picked me up at 3:45pm again. When we were driving home it was actually raining! When we got home we quickly got the bags in and I unpacked them. Later I sorted the recycle out ready for today, and even later I put out my fish to thaw for tonight's dinner, and I put the flowers from Julie in a vase. Then I took out the offcuts of the flowers and put them in the garden waste bin. I put socks, boots and a coat on to go out because it was still raining. Last night I watched I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and poor Chris Moyles was doing a trial where he had to go underground into a "boiler room" and get spanners to unscrew stars. He's not good with enclosed spaces to start with, and then one of the stars was underwater and he couldn't get a good breath to stay down long enough and he was panicking. Then he lost his spanners and the 2 stars that he had got and had to go back for them. When he got out of there he'd lost one of the stars again and only ended up with 1 out of 11 stars for meals for camp! I felt really sorry for him. I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.
