In world cup soccer there is great fun if new teams win. It has been Brazil argentina germany and france for many teams. It is great if we can see a new champion in Qatar this time. Smaller teams should play fearless football. It is not impossible to defeat the latin american teams.

I agree with you. Many players from various nations play in tough competitive leagues like EPL (English Premier League) and in Germany, Italy or even the leagues in Japan. Plus some countries have highly talented and skillful foreign coaches now (even the Indian team !!) I think this 2-1 win should be a big inspiration for Indian team as well. While India has had great players like Bhaichung Bhutia and Sunil Chhetri, as a whole, the Indian team needs to do much better first at the Asian level and then at the world stage.
