The Colorado shooter's father is sick

As per usual there was a mass shooting a couple of days ago in America and in Colorado Springs to be specific. A man went into a LGBTQ-friendly club and shot several people with an AR-15. An army veteran disarmed him and a trans woman smashed the hell out of him with her heels.
Apparently the press caught up with the shooter's father today. You know what he was worried about? That his son might be gay because he was in a "gay" nightclub. Like he seriously was interviewed and he said that like his only fear was that his son was homosexual and that was why he was there. Legit no worry or remorse that his son shot and killed/injured almost a dozen people.
I am beyond horrified. This guy is a loser so I guess it isn't a surprise that his son is too.

Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if the son was gay. With that attitude from his father, it might cause him to hate them even though he was one.... even to hate them more because it reflected an unacceptable part of himself, if you see what I mean... It might not seem to make sense but I know that many of the most vehement anti-gay men have actually been hiding a dark secret.

The shooter’s attorney said that the shooter is non-binary and wants “they/them” pronouns used. So the old man is probably right.
Now, here’s a funny thing: the reports said that the shooter changed his name to avoid being associated with his father’s “crimes.”
Oh, and the shooter’s grandfather is an anti-gay legislator from San Diego. And they’re Mormons (notorious for kicking people out of BYU [without a refund of the zillions of dollars in tuition] if they’re found to be gay).
But, in the long run, I blame ONE person and one person only: the guy who did the shooting.

The son is now claiming to be non-binary. I think he's lying and is making the claim on the advice of his attorney in order to avoid the hate crime charge.
The father is a sicko. He's probably rejoicing in the deaths of the club-goers.
