Back to tiger tails (Acalypha)

I was sipping my barley water in the early morning hours, sitting in my favourite corner when my eyes fell on this bush packed with tiger tails. I have written about tiger tails earlier but this I thought needed special attention. I grabbed my camera and clicked a few photos and found this one to have covered the entire bush which my camera refuses to oblige some times. Every nook and corner of this plant is loaded with tiger tails - even the trunk (stem) of the plant is not spared. I hardly see any leaves. This surely made my day. What made your day today?

That is really a festive looking bush. Do you have many of them?

Heavy showers seem to have suited them. Yes we have many healthy and flowering bushes all over the garden.

They look beautiful. Now, I know what they are called. They often grow in the wild in our area and they look awesome when they are in numbers. I love the color as well. Reddish-purple or purple is my favorite color.

Just because they are common many do not grow them but for me a colourful garden is a must no matter which flower that does it
