Well that was fun

My neighbor and I made potato and cheese pierogi this afternoon. We made it all from scratch and man did the cooking part take a long time. It was fun, though, and we had nothing else to do so we enjoyed it.
We decided that the pasta was too thick and that we didn't seal them all well enough. Next time we will use my pasta roller attachment on my KitchenAid. Lesson learned. Tomorrow I am going to make meatballs and sauce from scratch to have with the extra pasta that we have left over from today's project.
I am full and have a container with a lot of leftovers in the fridge. Hooray!

That all sure sounds really good, I have never tried making pietogi,
