God bless is one of the living legends of a rock band from Indonesia.
After celebrating the band's 49th birthday in May a few months ago, to celebrate their 50th anniversary, they have prepared several agendas, including:
holding a concert, making a documentary that will show the story behind the scenes when God Bless opened the Deep Purple concert in Jakarta in 1975, preparing a biography book written by journalist and music observer Denny MR.
And, what's interesting is that they will also be releasing a new album of old songs reinterpreted with an orchestra wrapped together with the Czech Symphony Orchestra.

That's quite an achievement - 50th anniversary. Very few bands can last that long. Do enjoy their concert. Sometimes, old songs sound better after a long time. I mean they're already good but they become nostalgic songs especially when you grew in the era when they first started as a band.

that's right, a lot of the songs are beautiful memories of when I was young, especially when I was still in school.
