Madison Cawthorn delivered a strange final speech on the House floor today

He is a representative from a semi-rural area of western North Carolina (though it does include Asheville) who lost in his primary in the spring despite Trump's endorsement. Some group (suspected to be Republican-based) released embarrassing video footage of him naked and literally grinding on his male cousin's face. It was clear that the establishment GOP was done with Cawthorn. Too bad they didn't do the same for MTG, Bobert, Gaetz, and Gosar. Anyway in Cawthorn's final speech he decided to die on the hill that men should be burly scary masculine men. He was afraid that American men were all becoming "metrosexuals". This is part of what he said: "Our young men are taught that weakness is strength, that delicacy is desirable, and that being a soft metrosexual is more valuable than training the mind, body, and soul! Social media has weakened us, siphoning our men of their will to fight!. . . Will you reclaim your masculinity?" Will you become a man to be feared, to be respected, to be looked up to, or will you let this nation’s next generation be its final generation?" First of all this is a man who we have seen video evidence of naked smashing his junk into his male cousin's face. Secondly--why should a man be "FEARED"? Is that supposed to be a positive attribute. Like why? To have power over women (or your naked male cousin)? I don't fear Trump and he isn't making stupid nasty nicknames for me? Where would the fear be coming from? This is also coming from the guy who posted a video of him beating up a tree from his wheelchair. So he decided to die on the hill of strong masculinity knowing all of that stuff was out there. Very strange. I'm glad that a man who thinks men should be feared is no longer in Congress. F that.
