30 November - What I'm Thankful for Today

We've come to the last day of November. We have so much to be thankful for. I'm thankful for this day. I said in my first post I would be gone more than I was here and that's what happened. Though the good news is that Secret Santa didn't overlap with rock painting. We had the Secret Santa drawing at 10 this morning, and then I left for rock painting. Here are the rocks I painted this year for Christmas. The big rock I brought home last week. The snow globe was the first one I did this year. Father Christmas in back I did today. It's a sticker. I'm not that good of an artist. And the white one with Jesus is the reason for the season, I did today also. I'm thankful for the time I was here today to see what is important to you in your world and what you are doing. I'm thankful for the prayer meeting tonight. It went well with only three of us, but I'm confident as word spreads, more will come. I'm thankful for snow flurries. We didn't get the heavy snow other parts of Wisconsin got. Yesterday we were in the 40s. Today we didn't get to the mid-20s. We had strong winds at 30 mph at times. The wind just howled. So, I'm thankful for a warm apartment with the wind chills in the single digits outside. I'm thankful for my health, food on my table, and a bed to sleep in. I'm thankful for my family, my son and daughter and my grandchildren and great-grandchilren. Yes, I'm also thankful for my older son. Though we don't communicate, I still love him. I'm thankful for Christmas, for Jesus' birth and life, for His death and resurrection that gives me life. I'm thankful for this and so much more. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

Today I am thankful because I went grocery shopping and I could pay with the "grocery store points" I earned during the year. I had my grocery almost free.

I am also thankful for a warm home as we have high winds too. Thankful my doctor takes the new insurance I was looking at. You are a better artist than I am. The rocks look great.
