Worked today at my old boss'. She offered me a three-day a week regular schedule, which I'd like to take, but I'm supposed to have an interview tomorrow at another school. I'd like to stick with my old boss, as I know how she does things and I know the kids and the location is easy to get to. The other school I don't really know anything about, and I've heard that their discipline is nil. When I looked up where the school where I was supposed to have the interview was, I couldn't tell from looking at the map how I'd get there. So I cancelled the interview tomorrow, telling the "bot" that asked for a reason that I'd found a position close to my home. After that, I texted my old (I guess you could say current) boss to tell her I'd cancelled the interview and asking to be sure if she wanted me there at 9 tomorrow morning (she asked me if I could work tomorrow before she offered me the three-day-a-week schedule). I'm tired of all of this runaround with job searching, and at least I was offered something where I know what to expect.

Hunting for a job is a pain in the tush... As long as you can pay your bills, it doesn't matter where you work.

True, and keeping one's sanity counts for something, too.

@xstitcher oh, well if you think sanity counts for something, there are a lot of jobs that won't work for you... Like Walmart. I worked for Walmart for 14 years... People tell me I'm not completely sane now.

Before I got to the part where you called a left a message with the bot I was going to advise you to take your old job back since you knew how it was. I am so glad you made that choice and Good luck! Let us know how it goes please my friend.
