The Zen master, Artop Reshinkski, was talking to another Zen master about, existence.
Artop said,
"The natural state of everything is non-existence."
"The power of God continually brings the world, with us in it, into its existence. Creation is not finished, because God continually recreates what is."
The other Zen master laughed, as he replied:
"This might be so, from God's point of view, as everything needs to be continually refuelled to stay existing, but from our point of view, all is as it is, and is continually changing its face to us, but it never recreates itself, until we see that change as recreation."
Artop replied:
"The world is created by God for a purpose, and the continual recreation is a part of that ongoing purpose too."
"Reality is an illusion, as it never existed, and never exists."
"All is being freshly remade by the creator in every instance of that creation continuing to exist."
"Albert Einstein, that famous physicist, once said:"
'"Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one."'
"God continually recreates the illusion, mixes it together with time, and so it persists for us as a seeming reality."
The other Zen master answered him:
"Well, I remain me for now, and I will exist through a certain length of time. What God does is largely up to him. All I know is that for now, I am me."
"And yet, my reality remains a mere shadow of God's reality, which is all there really is."
"God allows us to see into himself, through this window of consciousness, that he allows us to have inside of ourselves, and which links us back to his energy of love, knowingly, so we are not mere creations, but enlightened knowing parts of that creation then too."
"Ah,"
said Artop.
"Let us continue this discussion tomorrow, my learned friend. It is mealtime here now in this monastery. Food feeds us with reality, in its way too."

The two Zen masters liked to chew the Zen together, and to see each other bloom with Zen knowing.

Yes. I also am confident that God exists, as there is no point to anything without God being behind it.

Reality proves tantalizing as it changes every moment.
We have to react to keep pace with it.
The reality is fleeting as when we measure up to it, we are soon left chasing after it.
We need to be kept alive every moment and also nourish our bodies which can be a challenge for some.

Yes, the realities of life can be harsh sometimes, but we need to stick with life, and walk our path through hardships to the end, where, hopefully, we will savour the rewards of our efforts, in trying to live our best life here.

@Shiva49 We have to remember who made us too, and that God would have inbuilt into us the nouse to be able to overcome all hardships, even as it is often said that God never gives us more than he knows that we can handle, at any given time.

@innertalks Yes, when we overcome the toughest of challenges, we realize we are made of sterner stuff than we had assumed.
That emboldens us to take life as it comes than worry about whether we can survive the relentless onslaughts. Their impact will be much less when we are confident to meet them head-on.
