Hi there, it's 7:31pm here of Sunday.
Just sharing this that I've received an early Christmas gift from my sister.
Early this morning, I have few pesos left in my debit card and as much as I don't want to withdraw it, I needed to withdraw it. My decision this morning was so complicated, if I'm going to withdraw that few pesos ($2.00) or keep it and ask some help from my brother and sister.
I've sent them a message thru Facebook asking some help as my salary hasn't released yet. My sister replied about 30 minutes because she'd read late. Then she ask where she'll transfer it? I've answered "at my debit card" then she asked my debit account number then in span of about less than 5 minutes, she transferred Php 2,000 ($35.88). And sending screenshot that she successfully transferred the amount following a message "that's my early Christmas gift to you."
Then, me and my wife decided to go to the nearby market in order to withdraw that amount from the bank then she purchased some foods needed until my salary will be released.
When we came back, I've received a noticed messenger from my brother that he can't provide any amount as his job contract will be expired this end of December. No work afterwards.
Upon arrival, I've decided to play my bass guitar to cool my mind and released some stresses. While playing the bass guitar, I've received a notice thru my co-worker that our salary already been released and she asked if I'll be happy with that?
I've answered it as "not yet, I'm little busy of playing bass guitar".
With that question she stated, I've opened my online banking to check my salary and found out "don't know the reason if I'll be happy or not because we've only paid for 10 days only."
I've sent a message to her, "Be happy that we have this and as we're going to received the December 15 Christmas bonus soon."
Then, after that, I've sent a photo of myself playing bass guitar at our group chat with a caption of "I'm playing the bass guitar for the sake of my salary." Some of my colleagues make a heart emoji.
I've slept for a few hours after my bass guitar playing. Then upon woke up, I headed to 7-11 nearby outlet to withdraw my salary in order to compute how to manage our daily needs (foods, bills, etc.)
Good thing that my sister already sent an early Christmas gift in a form of money to extend help for our basic needs.
How about you, did you received early Christmas gift already?

@luisga814 Yeah, I understand. At least your sister was able to help.

@DaddyEvil Since, I've reported on site. I've travelled a lot without an increase of my salary (no additional transportation allowance), our budget put on a sacrifice. That almost everyday I've asked some financial help from my mother and my sister. And sometimes my wife asked help to our neighbor-friend.

@luisga814 We are the oldest living relatives on my husband's side. His parents are gone as are all his aunts and uncles. No one else to give us gifts.

@magallon Yes. Me and family are lucky to have my sister who's always there when I ask some amount. Although, not all the time because sometimes, she has no money to have it wire transfer.

@yoalldudes Yes. The good thing that my remaining $2 in my bank account stays still in my account. I only withdraw the amount she sent.
