It seems it is not Jollibee fast food will be build near our place. It would be build in a much crowded part of our town where there are many government housing projects for poor residents.
One thing I heard is another village or government housing project will be build in our community. That is not good news because some people who relocate in this houses can be bad people or not decent people. I love my village because people here are decent.
For sure if that news is true our quiet village will turn out like a busy city too. Schools will be crowded. Malls will be crowded. I'm not sure if it is a good thing or not.
Some say McDonalds will open there instead. So far I like going in that area at night and enjoy the crowd in our park and lots of food booth and malls.

I guess accommodating those people from other places poses a risk of absorbing people that may have a bad reputation. But I think adding population in a certain place means that there may be additional income for the place you are in since they will definitely spend and earn some money there. Anyway, your place seems determined to improve since they are doing everything to get better taxes from the businesses and people there.

@averygirl72 There is a good and bad side when accepting new residents in a certain place. It can improve the place or the opposite depending on how the local government will take care of them to settle down with ease.

I hope they are people that will not bring trouble or crimes in my community. Our town is a popular place or relocation sites now. I think we have 5 or more relocations sites government housing projects already and that adds to the population to the original residents of our town

I know what you are meaning. Many places here are also now overcrowded with buildings and people.

Yes I still don't know what its effect will be in the future if more people relocate on our village and more business opens up in our area

Maybe that new housing will be for the elderly. We had two apartment buildings go up for these aged people.

@averygirl72 OK, now I understand that it's not strictly for the elderly.

Our area has become more commercialized. It has its pros and cons. A lot of goods and services are nearer and accessible now, but also more people, more traffic, more noise, more trash and, sadly, we have beggars now.
