6 December - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been a good day from beginning to end. I didn't have any specific plans other than Writer's Guild tonight. I'm thankful I got everything done early this morning. I left to do Christmas shopping and found almost everything I was looking for. I finished my shopping online because I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. So, I'm happy with getting everything done. I only need to wait for the order to arrive and wrap. I'm thankful for the exercise bike this morning. I tied my best time for five miles at 23:08. I'm doing well and hoping I can lose the weight I want by Christmas and beyond. I'm thankful for Writer's Guild tonight. We were asked to bring books to sell. I sold two. So, in the past couple of weeks I sold 12 books. I'm thankful for the phone call just now with my sister. We talked for over an hour, making plans to get together either before or after Christmas for things going on in Green Bay. One is the Botanical Gardens Light Show. It's a night display of the holiday lights. Another is a Van Gogh Immersive. I couldn't find a lot out about it as we talked. The site wanted to pre-register. I didn't want to pre-register without knowing where, what time, and how much first. So, we're both going to look into it and see what we can find out about it. I'm also thankful for the Christmas Card I found on my door this morning from one of the other residents here. I haven't checked the mail for today, so there might be one in there. I'll know tomorrow. I'm also thankful I received my package from Amazon a day early. It's the books I ordered for the two people who wanted to buy a book from me at the book club reading a couple of weeks ago. So, it was a good day with lots to be thankful for.
