I Sent a Message to My Ex / myLot

I am talking about my first ex, whom I had a relationship for 8 years. I broke up with him in 2008 to settle for another life in a more peaceful way. He is a computer engineer and he really knows a lot about computers. I could say he is really good at it. He is really a good authority when it comes to computer and IT. I depended on him when it comes to things related to computers and IT. I am not a computer savvy you know. Now, I have a problem related to his expertise and I have no one I could think of. So, I emailed him yesterday. In my email I sent best regards to his mum before I started talking about my computer-related problem. Now, I am waiting for his reply. I am not hoping for his reply, but it will be good if I have answers from him.

That indeed is my hope because I seem to have an important matter to talk with him. I just wonder how my boyfriend feels about it. Really I have no intention of anything other than trying to resolve my computer and ID dilemma.
