Chilly gave us a little scare.

Our garage has three doors. One that leads into the kitchen, one that leads into the back yard and the main one that allows us to get the van in and out. I'd gotten distracted talking to George, so when I went to enter the house Chilly came flying out. We had both doors open leading to the outside, and, Chilly made a bee-line for the one leading for the street. I hit the button to close the door, and it popped open because either Chilly or George blocked it. That was enough for Chilly to come running to me and let me pick him up. I brought him back inside, where he started purring. We're lucky it didn't get worse.

He scared himself and I suppose that's why he let me so easily. He sure seemed happier in the house after the ordeal. After I gave him some time to calm down, he went back into the bedroom. We'll see about tomorrow when tomorrow comes.

Oh my goodness. That has happened before here with Brendel. She was out all night under my neighbor shed. I was so scared. Happy Chilly is safe.

I'm glad the closing door scared him enough to send him running back to me.

@CarolDM Yeah, I know. The way he was flying he could've gotten pretty far, pretty fast.

I am glad he run back to you. A cat on the road is at big danger, poor Chilly

I am glad that ended well, I have only one cat to worry about. Michelle constantly dashes to the door whenever I open it, I pull her back and she scoots under the bed but I tell her this is not a prison she has to escape from but go explain that to a cat

Cats are curious by nature. Hopefully this will curb that for a while.

No, we were fast , faster thn he was. We think he scared himself enough to where he doesn't want to go in the kitchen for a while.

@just4him He might change his mind, later, but for now he just jumped on the couch and looks content.
