In the Alpine forests in Tibet and China travellers are not allowed to stop for long hours

In the Himalayan part of Tibet and China there are lush rhododendron forests. There are canopies from where the sky cannot be seen. As these areas are at heights above 9000 feet during winter there is a lot of fog and mist. Travellers in their vehicles are not allowed to stop for long hours. It is because wild animals like wild boars, buffaloes, bear can come out.

I'm glad you all enjoyed the trip through the forest... I'm sure the tour guides are worried you might end up accidentally trading one of your sons for a bear if they allowed any stops... Or, maybe they were afraid trading your older son for a bear wouldn't be an accident.
