14 December - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day. I had another good night's sleep without getting up in the night. It was also almost seven hours. So a good night.
I'm thankful we missed the sleet. Right now it's all rain until 11 PM when it changes over to rain/snow mix and all snow at midnight through 7 AM. There's a winter storm warning until 9 AM. I will have snow pictures tomorrow.
I'm thankful the heating massage pad is working so well on my back. It's all weather-related. As soon as the barometric pressure changes, it should be good again.
I'm thankful I got work done on my book this morning. Not a lot, but it was good. I will finish Destination Love this week.
I'm thankful for the Bible study today in the Community Room. It was a good study of Psalm 119.
I'm thankful for the prayer tonight in the Community Room. There were only two of us, but it was good.
I'm thankful for the time I was here with you today. It's always good to know how you are doing and hoping you're doing well.
I'm thankful for the Christmas cards I got in the mail today. One from my best friend of 46 years and one from a myLotter. You bless my heart.
I'm thankful for my health, even when my body aches as it did today.

Today is one of my oldest and dearest friend's birthdays. We have known each other for 43 years. Also, my son answered my text, and called me immediately when I asked if he was available for a call.

I am thankful for another day, I am thankful for the fact that theres some food in the fridge, power is on and hot water.
