Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too. I had visited Udvada last week. I had posted about it being a Religious Trip. There I use to walk from temple to hotel and beach as everything was nearby. I use to see a lot of houses owned by Parsis i.e. my community which were dusty and locked up since long time. I really don't understand this concept of people investing in properties and not living in it. According to me, it's just my thinking that it's waste of money, space and takes away chance from people who really need it. In India itself, there must be millions of people staying on streets doing some work or other to make their living. There are these people who have good luxurious homes with all facilities. They have good monetary power hence to invest in real estate, they buy flats, villas, bungalows whatever one calls it, it's ultimately "home". They don't even stay in it. Keep staff for its maintainance or get it locked up. They give it on rent etc. Rich people across the world purchase homes in different countries. This is how real estate works i know. All that space and money is wasted according to me. A lot of people aren't able to afford buying homes or stay in small rooms or stay on streets. It's a terrible thing. Let me know your thoughts about it. Have a good day!! Take care!!

It's not as simple as it sounds. Some Real Estate developers and Home owners start some investments with good returns expectation. However, multiple factors limit Financial condition, Travel or relocation etc. In such a scenario, often the homes are locked for months or years. Yet, perhaps in some cases, there might be other reasons.

May be. I feel they have so much money on disposal that they can invest by buying more homes

My niece bought properties and she rent the properties. It is a good form of investing money.
