15 December - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day and a late day.
I haven't been here most of the day. I've been working on Destination Love.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Destination Love. I have 10 pages left. I won't be going to bed until they're finished.
I'm thankful for the round-robin tonight. We went around to various apartments and looked at their Christmas decorations, and finished up in the Community Room with treats. No, I won't step on the scale until next week. I've had my goodies for this year.
I'm thankful for Canasta. I won. I came from way behind to win on the last hand. We were a table of three, so no partners.
I'm thankful for the snow we got overnight. I'm also glad it didn't all melt away as it was supposed to get to 37 F today. We're getting more snow tomorrow and Saturday.
I'm thankful I have all the Christmas gifts wrapped now. I only had my son's girlfriend's to wrap.
I'm thankful those who visited my apartment took the gifts I offered that were under the tree. I had gifts left over from last year's housewarming and open house. I'm glad they liked the gifts they received. I might do that again next year.
Okay, that's my day. I'll be here more tomorrow since I'll finish Destination Love tonight. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. Snow taken this morning at sunup.

I get envious when you talk about snow and post pictures in your discussions. Something I can only dream about here in Florida. So, this morning I am going to say that I am thankful that you like to talk about snow!

@just4him You are so lucky! The only time I ever see it snowing here in Florida is when I’m standing next to someone who has a bad dandruff problem! Haha

I am thankful for my chance to share good news stories on this site as well as the nice sunny day even it is getting colder in time for the Christmas holidays where my nephew will enjoy at least two weeks from going to high school.

Good luck finishing the last 10 pages of Destination Love. Happy you won Canasta and got some snow. 
There was some freezing rain/sleet in our mountain counties but just a raw cold rain for us today. Next week we will plunge into super cold, with highs in the teens. Perhaps a snowflake or two towards the end of the week. It's too soon for me to get excited, too far away. If snow were in tomorrow's forecast I'd be more excited.
I am thankful Mike and I was able to get the treat bags ready for church on Sunday. I'll take them over tomorrow when I go to clean it. Sunday evening will be our Christmas Carol program.

That sounds like fun. I'm sure the kids will love their treats.
I remember those treat bags when I was in the school choral program. I wish I could still eat a popcorn ball.
We're getting the low teens next week too as the Siberian cold comes through. I hope you get the snow they're forecasting. You're right though. Too early to get excited about snow when the weather changes by the moment.

I as glad you finally got snow. We have flurries coming soon. I can live without that. But grateful things are as well with me as they are. Cold back not hurting so far. Grateful the storms didn't cause us any damage. Glad we are safe. Just happy to be alive.
