The lion and lioness in Safariworld Thailand are engaged in sunbathing.

December 18, 2022 7:35pm CST
I have seen lion and lioness from the closest distance in Safariworld in Bangkok Thailand. The only good thing is the jeep had railing and so we thought we were protected. But having said that for lion it is not difficult to break the glasses if they are hungry. An artificial habitat is created and they feel they are in the forest.

thanks Arunimaji there is a lazy elegance of the lions. But we were not confident of the railings of the covered jeep.

@arunima25 thanks Arunimaji the biggest challenge is the speed. At top gear a lioness can run at 135 kilometer per hour which at same speed as a duronto train.

@sathviksouvik Yes, even I noticed that mostly they are lazy. But then animal instincts can't be trusted fully. They might sense something not safe and attack.

Majestic animals! Always a delight to watch them, but from a distance! May be those taking tourists for forest safari must be aware when these lions are in good mood and when not.
