The best cannons that were used by Rajput Jodha Singh and kings of Jodhpur included the Qilkila cannon or tope. It is almost 500 years old. At that time there was lever system whereby pulling and stretching few levers the cannon functioned. It could kill 500 people together at one shot. So for enemies to enter into Jodhpur it was difficult task to win the Mehrangarh Fort and then capture Jodhpur.

@RebeccasFarm thanks Ocean he was the idol of myself and pillar of strength for my entire family. The entire list of cannons are very well preserved on the roof of the Mehrangarh fort.

thanks Jojo I worked in Universities in Rajasthan for 10 years. My family stayed there. I found it was mini India. There were forests in Ranthambore, desert in Barmer, Jaisalmer and Sonar Kella, dry weather in Jodhpur lakes in Udaipur, frost and snow in Mount Abu, to mention a few

You and your family all look very nice. I do feel a little sorry for your son, though. The rest of you are wearing sunglasses and he doesn't have any.
