Saturday Morning Brief

Good morning. It stopped snowing. We got 5.1 inches. We're still under a winter weather advisory with strong winds and harsh wind chills. Yesterday we got up to 41 mph winds and a -37 F wind chill.
The plan for today is to get to the store and finish grocery shopping for tomorrow's Christmas dinner. It will be interesting to find out if my car will start in this cold. I might need to call my son to take me shopping. We'll see. I know last year there were a couple of days when the car wouldn't start due to the cold.
Other than that, it will be another day like yesterday. I watched some Christmas classics yesterday. Today will be White Christmas. At least I don't need to worry about not having a white Christmas this year.

It's a good plan. I will too once I get the shopping done. I won't have Christmas dinner otherwise.

Seems to have stopped snowing here, too, but the wind is still blowing, but not quite as fiercely as yesterday.

So how did shopping go? My day good! Finished giving out my candy canes, got my bento of bar b que, which I was craving, and surprise treat for myself today. Good day. Forgot to bring my candy canes to Marukai Wholesale Mart for helpful ones, walked back home for it. Luckily, most helpful ones working today!

I did Instacart instead of going out in those temps and worrying about whether the car would start or not.
