The media is crazy.

I have told you of the great fires in my country. There is a place, very close to Viña del Mar, where the fire consumed over 100 houses. And the rest are not in very good shape. The people are now in shelters and help is needed. Help has been received and there are places that receive non perishable food, diapers and drinking water. That sound awesome. But there is one channel that decided to become Santas and have started a campaign to give bikes and tricycles to the children. And I ask myself, where will they place it? Where will they receive it? Where will they take it? I can understand that between everyone, people can fix a good Christmas dinner. And maybe tiny toys (one for each) to the smaller children. But bycicles? In this moment they don´t even have a road to play. Everything around is ashes and mud. And it will be like that for some time. But the media like to look as if they were supermen (and women). They like to show off. Sometimes, people answer back when they are asking stupid questions to the people who have lost all except their minds. Today, on air, a reporter asked one of the people who had lost it all whether he thought that helpers should bring shovels. The man answered between four letter words if he thought they´d get the ashes with bare hands. The reporter had to back away. Ir served him for being stupid! It is a shame that reporters don´t learn anything before they work on TV. Most are hired because they have good looks. See you later, friends.

Some reporters have absolutely no idea. It's quite sickening sometimes.

I'm sorry to hear about the bikes. I could think of a lot of other things that the adults and children need besides bikes. Wishing you and Luna a very Merry Christmas.

I know. If all your belongings have been burned, you don´t even have anythin to wear. Food and clothes come first.

Some reporters deserve more than a punch.

They mostly want everyone to look upon them as some kind of saviors but do not think before they act,

I know. And frankly, I would not want to be saved by such a dumb person.

The news about the fires has been chilling. It reminds me of the wildfires we get every summer here, and they are so devastating.

There are some TV reporters who like to show off especially when donating to others. Just last year, there was a flood in my country. Some TV reporters as well as other people took pictures and made videos while donating to others. This was definitely embarrassing to the victims

It is a shame. And the worst thing is that after that, they get better jobs often.
