Thanks to a concerned witness who saw a coyote who was trapped inside of a basement at a construction site in Dane County Wisconsin on Tuesday just before lunchtime, officials with the Public Health Madison & Dane County answered the call to attempt to rescue the coyote who was trapped in the basement for a period of time that is not known at this time. Shelley and Amy who were the officers who were assigned to rescue the coyote used a net to get the rear of the animal to get him out of the danger zone. By the time the coyote saw the chance to appreciate the fact that he was free to go on his way, the officers noticed that the coyote was very scared that he was afraid that he would starve to death and die of thirst had he not been rescued. The coyote was in good health when he was rescued after he was examined by the animal rescue team members as he left the area to go on his way.

Coyotes can be a real problem for ranchers. Glad this one was in good health and okay after this.

I did not know that coyotes do cause ranchers headaches. I am happy that the coyote is safe and sound after being rescue by the animal rescuers in the construction site.
