I watched some travel videos recently.
I had planned to share about more.
However, I watched this video recently and I enjoyed it a lot.
The host Harish Bali travels to a place near Central India - Jhansi.
This was a place where a young and daring Queen Rani Laxmi Bai took on Britishers in a fierce battle during the Revolt or the first Indian War of Independence in 1857.
A lot is told about her life and bravery.
There is a good Lights and Sound show as well.
The host also explores a lot of local food.
Rest you can check in this video with English subtitles:

It is mainly Hindi with English words thrown in.
We also term it as "Hinglish" !

This is so educational for me.
It seems the food is amazing and also the places we see in the video.
I am just having it on also as I am doing some other things online.
Thank you for sharing this.
I did not know about Queen Rni Laxmi Bai.
She seems very brave and fighting the British who wanted to do a hostile take over as usual.

The story of Rani Laxmi Bai is unique.
She fought bravely although outnumbered by the Britishers.
She fought on a Horse with her very young son tied to her back. An inspiring figure in the Indian freedom struggle.
Glad that you liked the video. In fact, subtitles can be really helpful for such videos.

Yes - it looks like a high class show.
The local tourist department of this place should be giving an award to the host of this video !
