A little later than I normally post, as i have gotten into the habit of making of a somewhat of a good morning post, but here it is. I've decided to try and create some separation between my online work, and my personal life. So, I'm going to start using my home office as well, a home office. I've found, George tends to leave me alone a little more, but time will tell if this separation will work. But, yeah. Chilly is in the bedroom and much rather be out in the living room. He's not going to get his way, though.

A separation makes good sense . . . you're lucky you have that kind of space!

Yeah, I agree. We didn't want to go to a one-bed, even if it was just the two of us. George and I like to spread out.

@kaylachan It's important for everyone to have their own private space - even if it's not for work. Hope it all works out!

@much2say I think that's why George and I bought a three-bed house. We wanted common spaces for both of us, (kitchen, living room, bedroom) And, then we wanted private spaces for us to get things done. So one of the rooms we turned into a home office, and the other one we call the 'pod'. George goes in there to do light work, (balancing the checkbook, going through the mail) and watch t.v.

Yes, but we don't want to lose him in the process. He gets his time to have free reign of the house.

butt that's half the fun for Chilly, trying to escape while people are trapsing in and out.

That is good to have your own office there, I think it will be useful for you Kayla. Now that George is home, you probably need a bit of space or? Oh Chilly is doing what then?

Yeah. I do need the separation at times. I would never get anything done, otherwise. In the morning, not so bad, really, but in the afternoon, when he decides he doesn't want to go anywhere is where things become hetic.

Good that you have an office and I wish you the best of luck with working and creativity for you. I have only two rooms one I call the front room and one my workroom but being alone the only disturbance I get at times is from the cats,

Yeah, I seem to thrive on distractions, but I like the peace and quiet to just work.

I hope it works. Things can get a bit confused if everything is muddled up!
